Jonas Meyer

Jonas is a creative director, brand strategist, and publisher with a big heart for words and visuals—and a talent for transforming free thoughts into precise concepts.

In the last eight years, he spent most of his time working for Kleinundpläcking, a Berlin-based consultancy for brand and business strategy. As an expert in the field of brand experience, he had the pleasure to continuously support them in various projects for renowned clients, such as Audi, BMW, Opel, or Toyota.

In 2016, Jonas experienced his most intense time there: When Kleinundpläcking was commissioned with the repositioning of Mercedes-Benz and the implementation of a new global brand style, called “Modern Luxury,” he was responsible for the new photographic language and visually reinterpreted the brand’s claim “The Best.”

Growing up in a small and placid town in the southwest of Germany, Jonas used to sell self-designed flyers when he was a kid. In 2008, while studying operational economics, he founded a visual communication agency called JMVC at the startup center of his university. After he had met young photo artist Lukas Leister, they created MYP Magazine together, a non-commercial online magazine about remarkable personalities from all over the world.

In 2011, he packed his magazine work and the—finally achieved—university diploma in a bag and tore off to Berlin. MYP began to breathe and unfolded, and Jonas, step by step, met the people of today’s ensemble. So the common story started.
